Free classes Notification in All India Civil Service Coaching Centre 2016:
All India Civil Service Coaching Centre, Chennai which was once called as State Training Institute (STI) is run by Tamilnadu Government. This Institution was formed by the Government order to help the Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes. This gives the Equality of Opportunity as stated under Fundamental Rights Part in the Constitution of India. The total time period for coaching will be up to 9 months until you write UPSC Preliminary Level Examination 2016. You cannot skip the Preliminary exam after getting coaching from All India Civil Service Coaching Centre. If you do so then you won’t get the refund back. If you clear the preliminary by studying through this institute you will also get Rs.3000 as scholarship and you can get free coaching in this institute itself with Rs.6000 Scholarship. After Clearing mains, you will be trained for the interview too. Mock interviews, Residence in New Delhi will be provided on the day of Interview. Now the institution has invited applications for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2016 coaching. Notification for All India Civil Service Coaching Centre 2016 contains no new information. Details mentioned in it are all same in previous year too.

- Differently Abled – 3
- Other Communities – 2
- Total – 100 Candidates
Denotified Castes will be included under Most Backward Classes. Here Other communities have been mentioned instead of General Category, which means Even If someone from Backward Classes score the first mark they won’t be selected under other communities. Not more than 24 Backward classes aspirant will be selected for part time classes.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification can be any Degree from a recognized University. Final Year students cannot apply as they won’t have degree certificate. Students doing 5-year integrated courses cannot apply until the completion of the degree.
Age limit (as on 1-8-2016):
Minimum: 21 years for all candidates
Maximum: 32 years for General CandidatesThe upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:
ii) up to a maximum of 35 years in the case of candidates belonging to BC/MBC/DNC/ BC(M)
iii)up to a maximum of 42 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopedically handicapped persons.
The Number of Attempts does not matter here. But the aspirants who have already taken full-time courses cannot apply again. Those who have studied in Part Time classes can again apply for Full-time courses.
Hostel Facility:
->Free coaching and Hostel will be provided for the Residential Students/ Full-Time Students.
-> No boarding facility for part time students
Full-time Classes Students / Residential Course students will have to pay a tuition fee of Rs. 1000/- only for the entire course. Only Students from Other Category have to pay this fee. Part time classes students / Non – Residential Candidates have to pay a nominal tuition fee of Rs. 3,000/- only for the entire course. Anyhow deposit amount of Rs. 3000 have to be paid by both the residential candidates and the Non-residential candidates. This will be returned after UPSC Prelims examination only if you have attended the 2016 Prelims.
Full-time classes will be conducted on Weekdays only. (Three classes per day between 10 AM- 5 PM and each class will be for 2 hours)
Part-time classes will be conducted on Weekdays (6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.) and also on Saturday & Sunday
How to Apply?
The applicants from districts of Tamilnadu other than Chennai can receive their applications from the District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office at the District Collectorates, on all working days, by submitting proof of their age and educational qualification and submit it in the same office duly filled. Certificates needed are SSLC mark statement or Higher Secondary mark statement, Community Certificate, Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate.

Syllabus for the Entrance Examination: History of India and Indian National Movement, India and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, General Science, Current Events, General issues on Environmental Ecology, The evolution of life on earth and Climate change, Basic Numeracy, Logical reasoning, General mental ability and Comprehension.

Qualified candidates in each category will be called for admission.

sir i m studying BEd in private college in villupuram district and i get scholarship . now i selected fr all India civil services coaching centre for full time they ask my original certificates for at the time of admission after admission they return my certificates or they taked ya. all my certificates is there in my college.but i have all xerox copies. if i continued that two places there any problem to take scholarship.i confused too brother .plz help quick………..
Here in AICSCC you have to submit your original certificates. By rule they won’t give it back until you you appear for UPSC prelims. but with the permission from principal of AICSCC, you can get original certificates if you are attending any interview or for any other valid reasons.
