All India Civil Service Coaching Centre Entrance Exam Question Paper 2014 With Answer Key

All India Civil Service Coaching Centre, Chennai (AICSCC) is one of a free coaching centre at Chennai which provides coaching for Civil Services aspirants appearing for UPSC Exam. This Institute is being run by Government of Tamilnadu and every year AICSCC will conduct Entrance Exam for selecting eligible candidates for this free coaching. I have uploaded the All India Civil Service Coaching Centre Entrance Exam Question Paper 2014 With Answer Key. I have attached the self-prepared answer Key too.

Question Paper Analysis:

Cut Off: This year the question paper was a little bit difficult than the previous year. But the cut off may not fall down because this year number of aspirants applying for this exam have solidly increased. The reason for the increase in the number of candidates is because of 100% free coaching. Up to last year minimum amount was collected from the aspirants for food and hostel were provided for free. but this year they have announced that hostel and food are at free of cost.

Question Pattern: Totally there were 100 questions. Each question carries 2 marks and so total marks are for 200. The happy news is that there is no negative mark.  It is a 2-hour exam. There is no separate paper for CSAT and General Studies instead both were asked in a single paper. Last year there was no question from aptitude or Logical reasoning but this year they were included.

Ratio Of Questions: Aptitude – 15  Questions; Geography 15 Questions; Polity 15 Questions; Science 15 Questions (Biology 13 Questions; Physics 2 Questions; Chemistry – 0 Question); Economics 13 Questions; Current Affairs 10 Questions;  Environmental Science 9 Questions; English Comprehension 5 Questions; History 3 Questions;

Review: Many have expected Questions from Ancient India but only 3 questions were from History. The questions on biology were mostly on recently spreading diseases, devices used in biology, Biological innovations that were in news. Aptitude was very easy as every question can be solved by logical reasoning itself and no need to memorise any formulas.  20% of the question was only allotted for CSAT which is very low when compared to UPSC as the CSAT was the game changer in 2013 Prelims. World Geography was easy and reading Goh Cheng Leong book would be enough to answer these questions.  On whole, the All India Civil Service Coaching Centre Entrance Exam Question Paper 2014 With Answer Key was not a difficult paper and not an easiest one too.
