All India Civil Service Coaching Centre (AICSCC) which was renamed recently from STI. The location of the institute was in Anna Nagar, 2nd Avenue and because of latest metro rail project the institute with the hostel was moved to Greenways road, Raja Annamalai Puram which has better ambience for education than Anna Nagar but not best suited for civil service preparation. There won’t be a Karthick Tiffin Centre which provides cheap and good foods. But food in the hostel is itself free and so we don’t need Karthick Tiffin Centre. If you plan to go for a mains GS class or optional classes in some reputed institutes you will feel difficult. Travelling from R.A.Puram to Anna Nagar for one optional subject is not so easy and so we have to opt for weekend classes only. Question Paper Analysis:

Cutoff:

Last Year I haven’t appeared for this entrance exam and also I’m not aware how difficult it will be. Have written Manithanaeyam Entrance Exam Before writing this for the first time and then have cleared that. Comparing with Manidhaneyam IAS Academy’s question paper it is very difficult but comparing with UPSC Prelims question paper it is very easy to handle. I probably guess that the cutoff will be in and around 50%. For General Category, it would be 100(Plus or Minus 5). For Backward Classes 95 marks (Plus or Minus 5). For Scheduled Castes 85 Marks (Plus or Minus 5). For Scheduled Tribes >70 Marks.

Question Pattern:

Total Number of Questions asked – 100. All Questions carry equal marks. 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answers. Maximum marks – 200. Time allowed to write exam: 2 hours. There will be only one paper. Even though Civil Service has introduced CSAT in Prelims All India Civil Service Coaching Centre Entrance Exam Question paper 2013 have not asked Aptitude and Logical Reasoning questions.

Ratio of Questions:

Science – 26 Questions ( About diseases 5, Zoology 6, Technology 5, Physics 10); Indian polity – 22 Questions; Economics – 19 Questions; History – 10 Questions (Ancient India – 4, Medieval India – 4, Modern India – 1); Geography – 10 Questions, Questions related to Current Affair – 9, Environmental Science – 4 Questions; .

Review:

This entrance exam is in the trend of TNPSC. Many questions were asked from Science especially biology. We have to be good in facts to clear this exam. Even if you are not you have a chance to clear this entrance if you are good at Indian Polity and Economics. There are no Negative marks which will be a positive thing for us. We can attend all the questions and will have a lot of time to answer all. The question papers found in our website is exclusive to our website. Even its official website doesn’t have such resources.
