UPSC has released a notice for the change of exam centre for UPSC civil service prelims 2020.
Prelims were earlier postponed to October 4, 2020 due to Corona Lockdown. Now as many of the candidates were locked in different cities other than the exam centre of their choice and as no transport is available in many cities UPSC is giving an option to change exam centre if needed.
Exam Centre will be allocated depending on the available centres in the selected city. As there will be limited seats in some cities first come first serve basis will be applied.
If your the exam centres in your city got filled and no more capacity is available then you will be given the centres of remaining one (probably from nearer cities)
The window of submitting the revised choice of Centres by the candidates will be operational in two phases
1) July 7 to July 13, 2020 (06.00 PM)
2) July 20 to July 24, 2020 (06.00 PM)
Exam withdrawal window will also be available so the required candidates can use it. No refund will be provided as mentioned in EXAMINATION NOTICE NO. 05/2020-CSP DATE: 12/02/2020 Appendix II B
