what is the meaning of Lt.Governer
Lt. Governor – Lieutenant Governor. Which means a deputy or substitute governor.
Why UTs hav lieutenant governors instead of normal governors.. Is it becoz they r under central control.. N whats d diff in power of a gover n a lieutenant gov..

More or less they are the same.
Lt Governor has more discretionary powers. He would hold many bills passed by legislative assembly to get assent from the president.
