About AICSCC:
All India Civil Service Coaching Center (AICSCC) is one of the top academies for UPSC Civil Services Preparation. AICSCC was ordered to function under Director General of training Anna institute of management. People used to call this with its old name State Training Institute and Anna Institute. It is not absolutely free but merely free as it costs only rs. 1000 for full-time students and Rs. 3000 for part time students. The difference between full time and part time is its class timings and the full-time students have free accommodation and free food.
The only way to join in All India Civil Services Coaching Centre is through entrance exam. It conducts entrance exam once in a year. Candidates applying for this exam must have completed degree to apply for that so that he may study here by full time. Even for part time classes the student should have completed college. For full time classes 200 students can study. For part time classes only 100 students can enroll. it is easy to pass part time test but it is difficult to clear full time entrance exam. Exam for both types of classes will be same but the selection will be based on marks scored in examination. The hostel for accommodation will be spacious and is located in greenways road. As the name says the area will have lot of trees so with green avenues around the centre it will be a feel good room. A very good ambiance, will give peace of mind to study. The only mighty problem is lack of water in that area. so they will provide water only once a day and we have to store it in some container and use it in limit. The accommodation was not free for all students before 2014. When Dr. IraiAnbu sir took charge he changed it to free of cost for accomodation.
Notification:
All India Civil Service Coaching Center (AICSCC) has announced in its website for entrance examination. Coaching for UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will be held for three institutes by combine. i) All India Civil Services Coaching Centre, Chennai ii) Anna Centenary Civil Services Coaching Academy, Madurai Kamarajar University, Madurai iii) Anna Centenary Civil Services Coaching Academy, Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. Unlike Saidai Duraisamy’s Manidhanaeyam IAS Academy we can’t apply for this exam online. They will provide coaching only for prelims when you clear this examination. Once you clear UPSC Prelims you will be selected for Mains coaching. The same for Interview too. Don’t do separate preparation to clear the entrance examination for this institute instead prepare for UPSC prelims and then you would clear this exam easily.

Eligibility:
The Candidate should have completed degree in any recognized university. Age should be between 21 to 32. SC, ST, SC Arunthathis get 3 years relaxation where OBC gets 5 years of relaxation and Visually challenged, Physically challenged candidates get 10 years of age relaxation. You should submit all original certificates with the academy and you should appear for the UPSC prelims compulsorily for this year else you won’t get refund back.
Today on July 10 2013 They Haven’t published notification but have announced when will they publish notification for entrance exam. I would send mail to you guys once they published advertisement and will also blog how to apply for it.
