  • Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus have rings (Belt of Small Debris)
  • Earth’s Twin – Venus
  • Time taken by the moon to complete one spin and to move around the earth – 27 days.
  • Asteroids – Tiny bodies between orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
  • Meteoroids – Small pieces of rocks which move around the Sun.
  • All planets revolve around the Sun in Anticlockwise direction. (Except UV-Uranus and Venus)
  • It takes 1 hour to move 15°.
  • Summer Solstice – 21 June, Autumn Equinox – 23 September, Winter Solstice – 22 December, Spring Equinox – 21 March.
  • India’s Latitudinal Extent – 8°4′ N to 37°6′ N Longitudinal Extent – 68°7′ E 97°25′ E.
  • Wildlife week – 1st week of October..
